Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe

  • Author: Julien Moreau
  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

– 1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)
– 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
– ½ cup dark chocolate (or chocolate chips)
– 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
– A pinch of salt

Instructions

Creating your own Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters is simple if you follow these steps:

1. Prepare the Strawberries: Rinse and hull the strawberries. Cut them in half if they are large.
2. Mix the Yogurt: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract. Stir well until smooth.
3. Dip the Strawberries: Dip each strawberry half into the yogurt mixture, making sure they are fully coated.
4. Place on a Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Once dipped, place the yogurt-coated strawberries onto the sheet, leaving some space between them.
5. Freeze the Yogurt Coated Strawberries: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes, or until the yogurt is set.
6. Melt the Chocolate: While the strawberries are freezing, melt the chocolate using a microwave or a double boiler. If using a microwave, melt in increments of 30 seconds to prevent burning.
7. Drizzle the Chocolate: Once the strawberries are set, remove them from the freezer. Using a spoon or a piping bag, drizzle melted chocolate over each yogurt-coated strawberry.
8. Return to Freezer: Return the clusters to the freezer for another 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
9. Serve and Enjoy: Once the chocolate is set, remove the clusters from the freezer. They are now ready to be served!
